As a class project, a Quiksilver foundation was chosen and a product was created to sell based on said foundation. The foundation chosen was the Quiksilver Revegetation Foundation, which prides itself on the revegetation of less nature esque landscapes.
The concept for the project was to create a succint manner in which the product package would react to the user's interactions.
Upon opening the box, the plane which the headphones rest upon would react by pulling forward towards the viewer. The box itself was laser cut, while the insert was created through 3D printing. An imbedded NFC chip exists, which, when touched upon by an NFC enabled device, directs the user to the foundation website.
The packaging is made from 100% post consumer products, and printed using soy based eco friendly ink.
