SECI Proposal | SCAD Hong Kong

The SECI proposal was a winning project developed by my team of SCAD Hong Kong students.
Winter 2011
In essence the proposal was for an instalation piece that acted as a wishing well.
Our idea was to turn the containment of peoples wished into an interactive charity installation.
Pedestrains would drop a coin (signifying thier wish) into the top bowl of the Well. The surface of the bowl was designed to elegantly swirl the coin in motion towards the gord of wishes. These roots are transperant and made in such a form to symbolize the actions of growing the community at its heart.
Light sensors would line the interior of the funnel and as a coin would pass by it would activate the sound of a childs wish. Recordings which one of our members would gather from a local an elementray school where she tutored.
