PET ZONE Standee
My sunday morning project - A 0.6x1.6m standee design for my friend pet store.
Brief
▪️ Simple but eye-catching
▪️ Key content is photo of a Miniature Poodle (a dog breed) and a Winter White Hamster (a hamster breed)
▪️ Can't be too cute or in cartoon/drawing style
Approaching
So, I decide to searching through those stock image first (to fit that specific breed in the brief), then develop the idea base on what I got.
Process
For a Poodle photo, I choose a puppy with "model" look - straight in you eyes. This is an unusual way people see a puppy and make the design stand out.

For a Hamster photo, it's a bit scary if I use large image. But if I use a smaller one, no one can recognize it. And because I don't have time to do some "magic trick", I need a stock that have it's own unique style so I can go with it. Like this one.

Now, I find a reasonable layout to put these stock together, adopt a style and - BOOM - finish my project 😎
