This project was about a cover book design. I had to create a book from scratch, with the freedom to choose its topic, provided I included a barcode and an editorial mark.
I opted to delve into the creativity, arts, design, and self-improvement for artists. My initial version, as depicted in the images above, was a swift endeavor, but I felt compelled to refine it. Additionally, I had the idea to produce two versions—one in Spanish and the other in English.
In my revision, my foremost aim was to revamp the color palette. I aimed for bold, clean, and vibrant hues.
In redesigning the book, I made deliberate choices. On the front cover, I simplified the illustration, opting for a cleaner, less vibrant look without outlines. I used the 'Permanent Marker' regular font for a blend of artistry and readability. Meanwhile, the back cover featured a concise phrase and book summary in Arial font, chosen for its versatility. These adjustments resulted in a fresh composition and presentation for the project.
