When designing for a party, the first focus is on the plate and dinner napkin. From there supporting elements would be developed i.e.: table-runner, party bags, cups, banners, confetti, centerpieces, etc.
* Research into day of dead symbolism: native flowers, significance of number 3, origins, practices, the mischievous element, Calaveras, & a mockery of death as in "The Feast of Fools".
