For my final project, I wanted to do something that is very dear to me. I decided to do something based of my favorite show, Miami Vice. Miami Vice is a fictional show from the 80's that focused on Vice cops in Miami. Combining 80s, Miami, and its own unique culture, the show created something entirely unique, and highly successful. Thus, I tried to capture this in my project. With the background colors, I used the four main colors of the Miami sunset. I blended and swirled it to achieve a surreal and eye-catching background. I then added the car from the show and the two main characters. Even with that, it lacked that Miami feel, so I added some palm trees to add to the character of the work. Finally, I added the title, in an 80s-esque font, similar to the one used in the show. Overall, I am extremely satisfied with this work. It allowed me to create something I loved, while also pushing myself as an artist.
