With my thesis project, I desire to tell the story about Mount Everest, about its deathly, however deeply desired, breath-taking beauty. About the Sherpa population, the people leading the Everest expeditions, leaving their families, to earn money for living, however, they may never return. I was fascinated by the idea, that so many mountaineers, from all around the world are ready to risk their lives, to see the unseen, ready to merge forever with the real beauty, to give their last breath to the eternal view. A place created by the interweaving of contrasts - white, clean, untouched, however seriously polluted. One expedition, a chore, or a real desire for beauty.

Life loss, or eternity...

SÈRAC is a Fall/Winter collection consisted of outfits for women as well as for men. Inspired by the merging of nature and soul, the way they enrich each other, by the touch of the tradition, by the journey, not only physical but emotional, spiritual. By the use of various wool fibers interwoven in knitwear pieces, is represented the pure beauty of nature. Its connection with the Sherpa population is carried by the colors of their tradition. The adventurous spirit of the mountaineers is represented in the garments by the use of technical fabrics, emphasising the need for protection, as well as by the use of mountaineering ropes, their bright colours, and structure, combined with the natural wool yarns.
