Cover and Interior Design for The Fearless Baker
My role was cover and interior designer as well as cover art director. After attempting several other concepts, we landed on a drip pour, which looked impressive but simple enough to attempt at home. Friendly and confident typography communicated the spirit of Erin McDowell's first authored book, which encourages novice bakers to take on new culinary challenges.
Magenta design elements punctuate the design, adding brightness to the moody, naturally-lit photography. The technique illustrations inform and add color to the page.
