Day of the Dead: Dia De Los Muertos

Day Of The Dead: Dia De Los Muertos
The Day Of the Dead or Dia De Los Muertos, is usually celebrated on November 1st and November 2nd. These days are used to celebrate loved ones who have passed away. People are able to make ofrendas which are called offerings, create altars with the person who has passed favorite foods, favorite things, a picture, marigold flowers, Mexican bread and much more. It is a way to celebrate those who have passed. These images I found online, but I wanted to share them with the class, because of the powerful colors and the images. Some of the images look unreal to me, but they are all photographs of real people. I really enjoy looking at the variety of photographs and what the photograph represents.
