This is an assignment called "Life on Mars" for DDN-110 at GCU. For this assignment I had to create a billboard advertisement for a company that was colonizing Mars. The assignment included creating slogans and thumbnails prior to creating the final advertisement.

Above are the sketches that I came up with for different concepts for the ad.
This is my final design, I used some stock photos to create a composite that looked like it could be on Mars and then added in features like houses and people. I made sure that the items that I added to the image looked natural in their place by adding shadows matching the direction of the shadows already present in the main image.
