I included my reference photo for my stippled bat piece on the far left. The wavy lines come from a graph of bat flying patterns. And the last image is a bunch of bat gesture drawings. I drew over 100 of these.
I traced the gesture bats onto parchment paper, and got a transparent print of the stippled bat. Then I overlapped them (topped off with a little plastic bat) on light sensitive paper in a dark room and it came out like this!
Using the rhino's horn in between the O's was definitely a shower thought. I named the town after my dog.
I changed the color of the logo and combined everything to make this pamphlet for an imaginary educational program. I used the waves from the bat to recreate the pattern on other pages as accents.
