CNC Wooden Gifts

For my final project in CRT 320: CNC machining. I wanted to try my hand at creating gifts for my family and friends using my design skills in Fusion 360. These designs are all based off of other logos/designs, but I manipulated them to give it my own spin.

The process was a lot like the campfire stool. I would make the designs in Fusion 360, then enter the manufacturing settings. Then finally make the cuts out of medium density fiberboard(MDF), on the CrawlBot. I had to make multiple cuts of some of the designs, just to play around and fix it up a bit.

the first item on the right is a graduation plaque. The design is based off of the Berry College Shield. I manipulated where the B was to make room for the Class of 2022 engraving (C/O '22). Since I am graduating this year I wanted to make something I could hang in my room/office one day.

The second item is a Father's Day gift. My father graduated from the US Naval Academy in 1986, and he has been my hero since day one. So I wanted to make him something personal to give him that he could hang in his room.

The third item is a Mother's Day gift. Denzel Washington said "a Son's first true love it there Mother." I wanted to make her a gift of my own design and creation to show how much I appreciate and love her for all that she has sacrificed and done for me.

The fourth item is a cross. I wanted to make something that I am very passionate about, my faith. I wanted to be able to display it from my desk.
Here is an video of how the CrawlBot works!
