This is a postmodern approach to book design that reflects the context of an excerpt from an article about Basquiat. I took inspiration from his art, poetry, and his love for music to create an enticing design. You will find that the formatting of text in the body copy and titles reflect his poetry. The body font was referenced from his own album cover GRAY. Below are some sample pages of the design. For the sake of time in this project, the text was not typeset.
