Summary:

Ne10 is the name of our boutique, which is located in the heart of Chicago in the neighborhood of Lincoln Park on West Armitage Avenue. The main inspiration for our store came from the chemical element Neon, also resembled in our stores name with the symbol Ne and atomic number 10. We wanted to create a contemporary store for young women who appreciate and know how to play with a wide range of designers that cater to their trendy and individual lifestyle. After extensive research on Chicago and the type of women who live there, we learned that the city is filled with many young professionals and students from several Universities. It is also filled with countless cafes, restaurants, bars and art museums. After carefully selecting our location in Lincoln Park, which caters to this younger and contemporary crowd, we divided our target customer into 2 types of women: the student and the young professional.

Selecting our designers was an important aspect to our store because we had to consider the other competitor boutiques in the area. We chose contemporary and emerging designers for our cutting edge store along with black labels and designers to keep a unique look for our customer. Our store is fun and creative with neon lights and eye-catching displays. For our launch, we chose to collaborate with the nightclub Debonair that follows the same concept and inspiration as Ne10.
