"Life" is my fourth paper work to date. It is the largest diorama I have ever made (140 x 100 x 30 cms.), and, as expected, the project that has required more effort, time… and has caused me more headaches. Anyway, I really enjoyed making this landscape with all the characters and details. That has allowed me to learn a lot, like all the big challenges. 

It represents a forest with 14 anthropomorphic animals, 3 trees that are used as a house or business, 2 burrows and a lot of props and vegetation. 

Everything you see is 100% handmade, which involves a lot of previous work, making 2D and 3D paper scketches, drafts and prototypes.

Each character measures between 6 and 13 centimeters, and is inspired by a professional stage in my life (including periods of unemployment), some of my hobbies or other everyday moments (that means all the characters are female). I have invested a year of my spare time in making it, which involves a few personal changes during its construction. The path that crosses it is a metaphor for the emotional and learning journey that I have traveled in all that time. And it’s a lovely place I’d like to live in. That said, it is not difficult to deduce the reasons for calling it “Life”.
III. LIFE IN THE FOREST / LA VIDA EN EL BOSQUE

"Life" ("Vida") es mi cuarta obra de papel hasta la fecha. Es el diorama más grande que he hecho (140 x 100 x 30 cms.), y, como era de esperar, el proyecto que ha requerido más esfuerzo, tiempo... y me ha causado más quebraderos de cabeza. De todos modos, realmente disfruté mucho haciendo este paisaje con todos los personajes y detalles. Y es que me ha permitido aprender mucho, como todos los grandes desafíos. 

Representa un bosque con 14 animales antropomórficos, 3 árboles que se utilizan como casa o negocio, 2 madrigueras, y un montón de atrezo y vegetación. 

Todo lo que ves está 100% hecho a mano, lo que implica una gran cantidad de trabajo previo, haciendo scketches, borradores y prototipos de papel en 2D y 3D.

Cada personaje mide entre 6 y 13 centímetros, y está inspirado en una etapa profesional en mi vida (incluyendo períodos de desempleo), algunas de mis aficiones u otros momentos cotidianos (eso significa que todos los personajes son femeninos). He invertido un año de mi tiempo libre en hacerlo, lo que implica algunos cambios personales durante su construcción. El camino que lo cruza es una metáfora del viaje emocional y de aprendizaje que he recorrido en todo ese tiempo. Y es un lugar encantador en el que me gustaría vivir. Dicho esto, no es difícil deducir las razones para llamarlo "Vida".
