Design Thinking: Mandalas
in order to explore colour theory, my assignment required me to create 3 different compositions utilizing monochromatic, complementary, and split complementary colours.
Monochromatic
I chose green for the monochromatic mandala as I don't particularly like this colour. However, I was able to find a good balance between light and dark, as well as bright colours in order to achieve what i wanted.
Complementary
For the complementary colour pallet, I chose colours that reminded me of my childhood. The pinks and greens resembled an old pool float I had. It also reminds me of watermelon and strawberries.
Split Complementary
