This Graphic Narrative is a part of a classroom project, that was done during my second year at the National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad.
The brief was to capture the essence of a place that we visited along with a personal narrative.
The place I visited was Sarkhej Roja. One had to analyze the binaries and the details that make a place what it is for people who visit it. And to understand what that place in turn begins to mean to the community or the larger population surrounding it.
I studied various visual designs from the place for the graphic narrative.
Style and treatment along with typography were key learnings.
Different visual elements were explored to study the place and bring out narratives. These are some samples from the process.
