In developing a concept for a concert poster design, I decided to make one for Tyler, the Creator. His titles are usually named based on how he is feeling at the time. As well as how he is not like a handful of artists that smoke and drink to "activate" their creativity. During composition, I was watching the movie Coraline and am always intrigued by how Wyborn likes to be unexplainably himself. Similar to Tyler, who is uniquely bold in his character and art. 

Since this was also an assignment for my course Design Fundamentals there was certain requirements that needed to be followed. Images of torn things had to be included in the poster like pieces of paper, solid objects, fabric, food, plastics, ephemera, or other found elements.

Below is my thought process using a mind map and thumbnails.

For the final poster, it had to have some natural element to it. As well as holding a bold or abstract visual to it. The rose below stood as the natural element while the yarn was more abstract towards Tyler's uniqueness.
