Val Trupchun
Val Trupchun is a side valley of the upper Engadin which goes into the swiss national park. The hike into this valley offers a fascinating glimpse of the Upper Engadin’s wildlife and plants all year round. You can see marmots, chamois, ibex, bearded vultures and deer. In October the larches are changing their colors which creates a fantastic scenery.

It takes about 5 hours to walk from S-chanf to Alp Truchun and all the way back to S-chanf. You can find the details of the hike under the following link: Senda Val Trupchun - Wanderland (schweizmobil.ch)
