Working in collaboration with ‘The New Creatives’ and The North of England Refugee Service’, Newcastle’s Literary & Philosophical Society launched their ‘Peace of Paper’ project in 2010. As part of this project, refugees and members of new emerging communities explored the themes of conflict and resolution through poetry. Laura assisted them with their print design and illustration needs – producing an anthology of their work, as well as an accompanying teacher’s pack, embellished with folded paper style illustrations.
