Background illustration assignment

I started to make a moodboard

Then i made 5 sketches for background idea's

After a while i choose for the first sketch i made and then i made my story.

it goes as followed:

Once there was a lonely robot who suffered from depression, as he was ready to end his life, as he ventured to the cliff he came across a small hairy creature. At first the lonely

robot ignored it but after a short while he befriended the creature and he gained his first-ever friend. his depression faded away and together they went on an adventure to explore the world.

after that we had to do a draw over, and i did it with two people.

her is what i drew:

the one on the left was for Ryan and the one on the right was for Amy

and this is what i got in return:

the one on the left is from Amy and the one on the right from Ryan

from then on i started working on my end product, i first made the design for the robot as he playes a big part in the story

the first one i made looked to much like a war robot and not how i wanted him to look like so i went for a more funny design.

after that i started working on my final product. sadly i couldnt add the effects ryan made in his draw over cause i couldnt figure out how to do it :( but i do really like how it came out

I had alot of fun to make the drawing and i really enjoyed the assignment. :D

We also had to make a block out on which we had to make a drawing aswell, this was a side assignment and was mostly for practice.

then i made my first sketch

but i diddnt like it as it looked boring so i made a new one

and i think this one turned out really well
