For one of my courses at Lancaster University myself and my team had to make a documentary film. We decided that it would be much more interesting to explore the length at which audiences will believe what they see as long as they are told that it is real, hence we made a Mockumentary film. We began production in January 2013.  I wrote the script and we made the scripted film in a style of a documentary. I then edited everything we had shot together and  entered it into Lancaster LEAF festival where it won the Judges choice award. It was an interesting project for me because I have done very little writing before and it was enjoyable to play around with these ideas and see it all come together in the editing suite.

 

This is the latest production I have made and I feel it to be a much higher quality than the short films I made in college. Particularly I feel that this film shows how far I have advanced when it comes to shooting and editing footage.
