Natural Disasters Wrecking Man-made Sanctuary

Curious about depicting an action, I chose to imitate a pictogram series of natural disasters, which includes blizzards, floods, earthquakes, avalanche and volcano eruptions. This project is about learning how to express an idea or an action through the use of shapes and lines, and at the same time searching for ways to display this visual language in any size for display—as an icon, emoji, road signs, etc.
The exhibited cubes are composed of 4 facets:
- A white pictogram on a black background
- A black pictogram on a white background
- A black pattern on a white background
- Details of project specifying which pictogram is being exhibited
