Travelers Safety in Cancun Mexico
Over the once time I've helped prospective trippers by posting on a variety of trip blogs. There's a growing misconception that if you travel to Mexico, you're taking a tremendous threat of being assaulted, burgled, commandeered or shot and nothing could be further from the verity. At night it's judicious to travel in groups and take a hack if your position takes you outside of the normal sight see rareas. However, ask your hostel concierge if the area is safe, If you're going to a original magnet in city after dark. Utmost area bars and pavilions have 24 hour outside security for both your and their protection. I am not saying that Cancun is without crime but compared to town Detroit, Chicago, LA or Atlanta you are safer then and less likely to come a crime victim.
After living in city for seven months I've come habituated to walking out late at night in my neighborhood (La Luna & Nichupte) without solicitude. Numerous of the original neighborhoods, in city, post levy night watchmen at the corner of their thoroughfares. These rotating shifts of levies sit up all night and watch for strange faces and also make sure area residers make it to their doors safely.
