Have you ever seen how your favorite vegetable grows? In Iceland greenhouse restaurant you can not only see, but touch and taste freshly grown salad vegetables, fruits and berries.
When you arrive to the site, the first thing you see is a Greenhouse. You take a walk towards it and observe a Hverfjall volcano in the distance. While approaching the greenhouse, vegetation inside of it is becoming visible through semi-transparent material. You can walk inside the greenhouse, or pass by it towards volcano. Route is taking you to the point, when relief starts to descend and you can see a glazed wall. It is a restaurant, hiding in a landscape.
Entering the restaurant you feel comfy and warm. You can see a Mývatn Lake through glazing wall in the front. Dining area is on the left, with its panoramic views on majestic Iceland. Stairs that lead to the greenhouse are to the right. There you can see how vegetation grows before it will be served. You can eat delicious food right in the same area with the view on a greenery, or return to the dining hall downstairs. There you can eat while enjoining the view on Hverfjall volcano and Mývatn Lake.
In the middle of the restaurant is situated a multipurpose hall with mobile walls, so it can be opened or closed as needed. There on occasions you can enjoy movie nights, yoga classes, art exhibitions, masterclasses or other events.
