For the illustration of a historic Formula 2 racing car I was inspired by a design drawing from the late 1940’s that I found in a motorsports book.

The shape, colors and gradients of the car have been done in Illustrator.

For all the fine structures, I further processed the illustration with brushes in Photoshop.

Finally, the historic racing car was printed on a photo canvas (grammage: 340g/m²) and mounted on a wooden frame.
