Lahore, once known as the City of Gardens in Mughal Era, now going through massive manipulations in terms of broadening the roads, construction of under-passes, metrobus and many other advances. Shahbaz Sharif, chief minister of Punjab worked hard to bring in his idea of 'Changing Lahore into Paris', and adorned the entire Canal Road, with green landscaping and LED street lights.
On a misty night, in December 2013, returning from a friends's wedding we took these photos, under those street lights on the broaden roads.
