Pattern cutting is all about exploring and being adventourous, when i finally decieded I wanted this as my final design, i knew i had to play around with scale and size and really break some rules.  

Trail parts with the collor and lapels

Cutting off some more as its too big.....

Playing around with it in calico and doing some extra trial and error to see how it works in fabric

Testing it out on mini fabric so i can how it looks

The final outcome, I was extremelly happy with it, and the fact my sewing machine made it through the 4 layers of leather!!

But i feel it did work well with my design and the embellishment went with the military style i was trying to achieve.
