Objective: Show the process of time through a theme using Typography.
Theme: The transformation of rocks to sand over time.
Formation of Sand
It all begins with a rock. Simply put, sand is made of tiny particles of worn-down-rock.

A loose granular material that results from the disintegration of rocks, consists of particles smaller than gravel but coarser than silt, and is used in mortar, glass, abrasives, and foundry molds.
The most common material that sand is made from is silica or quartz.
Time, water, and wind are what form the transformation. Rock is pulverized by the elements. The particles are picked up by wind or water. They are left as sediment in the ocean.
Seashells break down and are worn down. They help to form sand.
This action of time, water, and wind is what breaks up the rock into progressively smaller pieces until it becomes what we know as sand.
