The reason why I have chosen a stainless-steel kettle as the theme of my observational drawing was because I have several memories about them. When I went to school as a young girl, my mother would always heat warm barley tea in a kettle and pour it into thermos bottle. However, nowdays, people use coffeepots or water dispensers instead of kettles, so they have naturally been forgotten. Recalling the memories from those times, I have drawn several kettles from various angles.
I was inspired by Jeff koons, Balloon Dog in terms of colors schemes.
