Sycamore Rebrand

Sycamore is a peer-to-peer lending company operating in Lagos, Nigeria.
Prioritizing the eradication of poverty, boosting economic growth and reducing inequalities, Sycamore is fiercely loyal to their clients and exists to support those advancing good in the world.
Unfortunately, the company's visual identity system did not properly communicate their values and their standing as an international body. This case study and rebrand looks to correct that and uplift the brand to a more sophisticated and suitable position.

The brand mark is built around an icon that is a vectorized form of a sycamore leaf, the icon being constructed out of a series of geometric shapes. The result is an icon that reinforces Sycamore as a provider.
These basic geometric shapes are then extended across the identity system to create a series of unique abstract icons, representing the firm’s services, as well as a bold and modern geometric background pattern for marketing materials, presentations, and more.
