One Piece Geometry Handbag

This was my first trial pattern for this geometrical bag. 
This bag was designed by folding and cutting paper and is made from one pattern piece. I did not sketch for this  bag until after the design was finalized and I needed to work out details such as the flap.

I added a square of stiffner to the bottom of the bag to help it sit up and give it more shape. 
Laminating the inside leather to the bag body. 
Process photo of laminating the lining to the bag and stitching the front and back with a closed seam. 
Handstitching the handle together.
I made many mock-ups for the flap to help decide what looks best. In the end, I decided to keep it simple with only top stitching.
