Fibre is a home furniture collection, made in Bogotá, Colombia. It has 5 types of products: chair (as the main product, from which the characteristic shapes of the legs and joints were developed to later develop the other products), sofa, table, coffee table and coat rack. With this family of productos, we want to highlight the union between traditional handcrafted and industrial furniture techniques in Colombia.
Its main materials are PVC wicker and flowered wood, since through the color of these materials, it is possible to develop multiple combinations, generating our own language between the products.
By combining these two materials we are also combining two sectors of the Colombian economy; On the one hand, there is wood, which represents the furniture sector in Colombia. And on the other hand, we can find the PVC wicker weaving, which represents the artisan sector.
These products were developed by D.I. Ricardo González Millán as co-creator of the family, the Ardisek company as developer of the wooden pieces and Mr. Jairo Celis as the person in charge of the weaving.
