This logo was created for a recording studio in Miami, FL. The studio's name alludes to the extraterrestrial, so I thought it would be befitting to use the Nasalization typeface for the logotype. The studio itself is a part of a larger family business operation that uses the 8 ball as an identifier. To page homage to that, I decided to the incorporate the 8 ball into the logo. I also found that the 8 ball and its position served a dual purpose: to pay homage to the parent brand as well as to take on the illusion of a studio monitor.
