樊锦诗：根入石窟蟠
舍半生，给茫茫大漠。从未名湖到莫高窟，守住前辈的火，开辟明天的路。半个世纪的风沙，不是谁都经得起吹打。一腔爱，一洞画，一场文化苦旅，从青春到白发。心归处，是敦煌。

说到敦煌，大家喜爱莫高窟，敦煌色彩，飞天，雕塑，大漠。
我唯独喜爱，这群艺术家，在敦煌留下的精神。
他们在极其艰苦的状态下，雕刻了自己的西方极乐世界。
我想将这远离喧嚣的极乐世界带到身边。

Give up half of life, to the vast desert. From Weiming Lake to mogao Grottoes, guard the fire of predecessors, open up the road of tomorrow. Half a century of wind and sand, not everyone can withstand blows. A cavity of love, a hole of painting, a cultural journey, from youth to white hair. The home of the heart is Dunhuang.

Speaking of Dunhuang, we love Mogao Grottoes, Dunhuang color, apsaras, sculpture, the desert.
I only love the spirit left by this group of artists in Dunhuang.
They carved their own western paradise under extreme hardship.
I want to take this world of bliss with me.
