The Design Process
As we settled on the concept of a career-assisting application, I began working on an accessible design that would allow the User to keep track of their journey in finding a new career in tech.
We decided that a Future Developer would need the following to be a successful candidate:
1. Consistent practice with coding
2. Awareness of trends within the field
3. A way to keep track of where they have applied
So, I design an application that would allow the User to keep track of all these things in one place.
Of course, as new developers ourselves, my team was relatively limited in the level of perfection we could achieve. However, we worked through the struggles that we encountered, whether that was code overlap, API Connectivity, or time itself, and we were able to build a base for our final product.
