MY WEDDING STATIONARY - I DESIGNED, CUT OUT & PRINTED EVERYTHING MYSELF, AS YOU KNOW WEDDINGS CAN GET QUITE EXPENSIVE, SO THE BUDGET WAS LOW, BUT THE WIFE'S EXPECTATIONS WER HIGH, HA HA.
Wedding images were by Pickle Photography
The original sketch of the logo, letters L & C
The final chosen logo
Using this devise, I could perferate the RSVP, which had a magnet on the reverse side,
this was torn off and placed on the fridge of the recipient of the invite
My dining room table was a serious production line for a good few days
The cutout illustration was of my wife and I, at the place we got engaged
Instead of having a traditional guestbook, we managed to find these beautiful glass jars, so I designed a wrap around on a semi-translusent paper and placed one on each table. The guests received a guestbook tag with the menu setting, the messages were written on the tags and placed in the jars for collection.
The Table seating, was created using an old ladder, which I found, sanded down and repainted, we then used hessian string, a few mini-paperclips, printed out name tags and numbers.
For the wifes wedding ring, she had said that she likes dragonflies in the past, so I took this knowledge and turned it into the image above. The middle section depicts the body of the dragonfly, the main stone being
the head, and tapering down stones on the left. The smaller stones on the right are the tail of the dragonfly, wraping around. The bowing "wings" were the wedding bands, so as cheezy as it gets, she got her wings
once she got married.
The final place setting
The wedding favours - these were created from old salt & peper shakers
The ring box - I used the illustration I did of my wife and I the day of our engagement
This was placed in the heart shaped box.
Unity candles - Yes even the candles had to be designed, nice simple wrap around using typography
Emailer invite - This was created to send to friends and relatives who didn't receive the posted invite
