Promoting my guitar-playing alter ego.
The stop motion video for “Sleep when we’re dead” was directed, shot and edited by Joshua Mruz. I came up with the concept and created the props using stuffed birds, cotton balls, foam core and, yes, glitter glue. Special thanks to my wife Jaci Lee Reno for painting the backdrops. The wooden sculpture (referred to as “Mr. Grim” in the song) was carved by an unknown Mexican artist and acquired at a garage sale.
