Blue Boy Custom Ergonomic Computer Mouse
Blue Boy is an ergonomic mouse that is custom-designed. It was designed through thoughtful consideration of the natural position on ones hand while using a mouse and ergonomic comparison to a variety of common computer mice. It was first prototyped in clay, 3D designed in Fusion 360, and 3D resin printed.
Blue Boy features a glossy navy blue color that was done through a process of sanding the resin print, priming, painting, and glossing.
Ergonomic Analysis
An ergonomic analysis was performed by painting three different mice and testing them to see how comfortable they were to hold, keeping in mind the contours and recesses of the test mice. A clay model was created after analysis.
Fusion 360 Design
The mouse was modeled in Fusion 360 using the surface modelling environment.
