This project consists in making a mix between an animal and a human. ( a "Manimal" as I call it)
I had to imagine a graphic language to create a typography and two visuals: a human and an animal. These will be divided into three parts in their height to create many possible combinations.
First step: think about my visuals and start sketching with oil pastels.
I didn't know yet exactly what I wanted to achieve, so I let my imagination run wild.
Second step: focus on two visuals, redraw them, improve their position and vectorize them.
It's also during this step that I thought about how to make the contour lines: don't make them, create negative spaces or make them black.
Third step: choose the rendering I prefer and divide the two visuals in three parts in their height to create several possible combinations; and create a typography based on the created visuals.
