Right to the City in Asia: Stories from the 'Invisible'

The right to the city in asia (2021)
This research raises questions about the right to the city in the Asian region, drawing on the experiences of four countries: China, South Korea, Indonesia, and the Philippines. The paper attempts to synthesize a viewpoint that intersects the region’s rich and diverse culture, norms, and policy positions. Despite the contrast, the intersection could be learned as common ground in advancing the right to the city agenda in Asia. This project aimed to express the practices of right to the city in four countries, not only cultural diversity but also on the policy positions, case studies on the vulnerable groups, and social movements.
