Namaka Shelf
This project had the goal of helping the community of Ocuilan to reactivate their economy after the 2017 earthquake. We were working with Ocuilin, which is a small business that utilizes local supplies to create sauces and jam, with them we utilize the Design Thinking process to create a product that adapts to their necessities.
The final result was the Namaka Shelf which consists of a modular shelf with five pieces fabricated with pine plywood of 18 mm, it can be stacked and assembled indefinitebly resisting forces of 90 kg giving a solution to their problems like the lack of space, security for the childrens around the kitchen and ease to transport.
