I create 4 artworks or a series that related to the word ‘UNBREAKABLE’. In this series, I want to show how strong a bond between two children eventhough they had many problems such as anger management issues from the family.

Anger may contribute to the development of a host of unhealthy patterns in relationships. If allowed to continue unchecked, angry outbursts and threatening behaviours tend to escalate. In relationships where calm, open dialogue is overshadowed by rage-filled words and deeds, loving bonds among family members may be camouflaged by heavy layers of resentment. From my artworks, I want to show that the two children always have each other eventhough they suffered from family that have anger management issue. They still stay strong together and never leave each other.

To create these images, I use a red clothe as a medium to tie the children together. For the first image, you can see glass shattered in the background. It shows that when the family fighting such as their parent, it tend to break some stuff like glass, windows and others. Next, for the second image, you can see a hand supposedly to be the father that hold a belt to hit a person which is the children. The children always sees something like this happened in their life. Then, for the third image, you can see a smoke in the background. I want to show that their father always smoke in the house, or nearby the children which can cause danger for their health and for the final image, you can see a hand that show a fist, ready to hit the mother. This is what always happened in the children’s life. They live in a traumatic surrounding and event but they choose to stick together and always have each others’ back.
