A Lord Of the Rings theme park is something fans have been longing for a long time. The Lord of the Rings, and all the literature around Middle Earth, is an incredible work of world-building that revolves around multiple languages. From this starting point Tolkien shaped characters, locations and a narration to create a world with its history and mythology that everybody can relate to. Peter Jackson and his team started the process of translation from a written story, to a visual product. Their knowledge of the books allowed them to transform words into movies. 

Middle Earth park wants to be the next step into this translation process: from story and visuals into a real and tangible world. With Middle Earth park we want to create a real breathing world where narrations, stories and adventures take place. Rides and experiences are the means through which guests will approach this world. 

After selecting the attractions, the stories and the experiences we are starting to develop the layout of the park. Here you can see an example of quick facades in front of a volume study based on benchmarks. The park is available for a VR visit to study the relations between the lands and sightlines.
