First Sketch after reciving the breif.

 

Thought about possibly doing a book cover for the "Mortal Engine" Series of Novels by Phillip Reeve. However, i then started designing my own ideas.

I was thinking of a split world, perhaps different historical cultures... Medieval vs Roman?

This was the sketch that went on to be a one of the two final images of the heavenly world that would reside above the planet of my Story "Acension"
