exhibition identity

The new exhibition opened in 2021 December in the Budapest History Museum, which presents the fate of the Hungarian, impoverished children in the interwar period. At the beginning of the child aid campaign in the 1920s Hungarian children were taken to host families in the Netherlands. Soon after the Netherlands, Switzerland, Sweden and the United Kingdom joined the children’s train action, and from 1923 Belgium also made a significant contribution. During the campaign more than 60,000 children returned home well-nourished after a few months (sometimes even years) abroad.
At the visual identity of the exhibition we conformed to the historical topic. We chose a classy logotype and modest colours and these crop up again in the exhibition spaces.
