Final University Project 2016
For my final university project, I wanted to create a long lasting piece, that was thought provoking and impacting.
The aim of the project was to help in removing the stigma behind mental health.
Therefore, I created a short experimental film about mental health, as it was something that affected a lot of people within my life.
I felt it was important to create a piece that altered the viewers perspective, through putting them inside the mind of an individual who suffers with mental health. This was done through creatively exploring and expressing the three stories within the film through dance, imagery, colours, editing and poetry.
Six years later I am still proud of what I achieved with this project, my drive and ambition for the distribution of this film meant that it was accepted in 2017 to a London film festival called 'The Unrestricted View Film Festival'.
