Not a single day passed without spoilt Daisy asking her parents to buy her a toy.
One day (pause) she found a doll on the playground and happily took it home..
Nobody knows for sure what happened that evening. Theories and rumours still abound.
 
(pause)
 
But the police report says their lifeless bodies were found in the living room.
 
(building tension)
Dad was sitting by the TV, with fear in his eyes. Daisy froze by herself still picking her nose. Mom was found bending over the shopping list with one item written
 
(spoken in a creepy tone)
in a large shaky script.
 
(pause)
 
(spoken with a hoarse voice as it was on the last breath)
“The doll.”

Mrs Bobbit still remembers Jimmy Duddle’s last birthday party. Jimmy’s favourite gift was a small second hand rubber duck.
 
(whispering)
After guests left,
Mrs Bobbit, clearly witnessed a series of horrifying events through her back yard window. Jimmy’s mother went into the bathroom to prepare a bath. (pause)
 
(spoken in a creepy tone)
But she never came back.

Then Jimmy’s father followed her in. (pause)
 
Mrs Bobbit’s felt as cold as her coffee (pause) when he crawled out of the room and could barely whisper something to his son.
She read his lips: (pause)

The night before Christmas, Mrs Beaver realised that she had forgotten to buy a gift for her grandson Johnny.
But there was one thing she could give him, (pause) a teddy bear, (pause) the family treasure, handed down, perhaps, for centuries.
 
(building tension)
She gave it to Johnny with her shaking hands.
 
(pause)
 
(spoken in a creepy tone)
Johnny loved it.

Unluckily, for him and his parents it was their last Christmas.
They left this world unexpectedly the following day.
 
(pause)
Since the tragedy, Mrs Beaver’s is haunted by Johnny’s ghost.
 
(whispering and building tension towards the end)
He wakes her up every night shrieking the same thing over and over.
 
(long pause, silent background)
(spoken suddenly and loudly)
“The teddy bear”. Huuuhahaha (the ghost's laugh) “The teddy bear”.
