Borobudur writers & cultural festival is a space for fiction writers and creative workers to meet. This extraordinary event is a reminder to the world by showing the Indonesian literature and cultural heritage by Indonesian writers and artists. Shown in December, 2021 virtually on Zoom, this festival was attended by Indonesia Ministry of Education.
They collaborated with us to make an official trailer, 1-minute cinematic video, screened in the opening of the event. Dancing and singing performances of several Indonesian artists were displayed on the video, located in Borobudur temple.
I took part as a camera person in this project by KitaPoloeng Bali. We collaborated with several artists to make some cinematic videos. Dibal Ranuh, the director, has a spontaneous exploration style in his film, and I visualized his style in the video taking.
During the video production, together with the other cameraman, We were challenged to quickly find the best angle in hard spots. We used tele lenses, 85mm and 70-200mm in A7S III Sony camera, to create a perfect angle and depth of field.
