Rebranding Cairo

Rebranding Cairo 2018
The aim of the project is to encourage people to discover the marvelous areas that are neglected in Cairo. we created a different inspiring identity of Cairo that reflects our concept’s mission which is to motivate and educate locals about the hidden spots. Cairo has plenty of different fascinating places that are full of culture and history yet, it is still met by lack of awareness and minimized rate of visitations.

Hence the purpose of the project is not to just increase the awareness, but to successfully educate and attract attention and interest of youth living in Cairo in order to increase the rate of visiting , their knowledge and to a achieve a better understanding of our history and culture. The project included a brand manual that reflects our concept’s mission ,vision ,core values and brand voice as well as a logo, color theme and applications which helps in communicating our message.

Cairo's typography communicates clearly and cleanly, and is flexible in a wide range of situations. Flexibility comes from using only two type families which contains all necessary styles. These typefaces were selected because it is warm, open and legible at all sizes.
Colors were selected to reflect our concept of viewing Cairo as fantasy.
Here we followed a grid12 columns by 12 rows. And this should be strictly followed while designing anything related to the brand.
Our images is edited in a way that gives a sense of fantasy yet it’s still simple and clear. The images that we use are mainly of old architecture, streets and unfamiliar touristic sights.
Cairo's visual look and feel is a collection of Elements that create a cohesive package. Our colors, Typography, photography, graphic elements and Voice all combine to create a strong, unique image for Cairo. We tailor these elements for each piece we Create and, by using these tools consistently, each piece We design will combine to create a larger whole.
